General Notes: Husband - George Booth


He and his wife were born and reared in England, where was solemnized their marriage and whence they immigrated to America in 1840. For a time after their arrival in the United States they lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and later they settled in Shippenville, Clarion County, where he owned and operated a woolen factory for a number of years. He and his wife were devout members of the Lutheran church.
