Adamsburg, Hempfield Twp, Westmoreland Co, PA

On Oct. 14, 1864, he enlisted in the 67th Regt. Pa. Vol., as a substitute for Rev. Mr. Hickman of Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania. He enlisted to serve for one year, or during the war, was detailed Regimental Steward under T. F. Carson, and mustered out of service at Halls Hill, Virginia, July 14, 1865.
