General Notes: Husband - John Potter

---

He was extensively engaged in business with his brother James, but the firm of J. & J. Potter failed in 1849. In 1850, he removed to Wisconsin, where he engaged in the lumber business at Fond du Lac. He filled many positions of public trust.
