General Notes: Husband - Hezekiah D. Buzzard

He was born on the homestead, and was educated in the common schools. Until three years after his marriage he assisted in the labors of the farm, and then for one year engaged in farming with his father-in-law. The two years following he was associated with Josiah Allshouse. He then bought and removed to his own farm of about thirty-two acres, near Buzzardstown, not far from Irwin. He had one of the most productive small farms in the county, on which was a sandstone quarry producing a good grade of building stone, from which he has took over eight thousand perch. He was a Democrat and a member of the Lutheran church.
