General Notes: Husband - Oliver Perry Caldwell
He moved to Mercer County, PA, in about 1835 or 1838.
He died in 1882. [HMC 1888, 1104]
They were members of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and he was once a director of the poor, and was a stanch Republican.
Eight years of his life were spent in absolute helplessness from asthma, and the main responsibilities of the large family were carried by his faithful son, Oliver, from his fifteenth to his twenty-second year.
