General Notes: Husband - Wilson Lewis

He was reared and educated at Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He learned the trade of carpenter, but soon thereafter engaged with a mercantile firm in Elizabeth, Allegheny County, and remained with them for seven years. In 1852 he came to Derry township where he followed farming for ten years. In 1862 he removed to New Alexandria and worked at his trade until 1868, when he purchased a large hotel which he conducted thereafter.
