General Notes: Husband - Robert Canon

Millcreek Twp, Mercer Co, PA
He was born in Hickory Township, Mercer County, PA. [HMC 1888, 1084]
He was reared in Shenango Township, and attended the old log schoolhouses of that period. He remained on his father’s homestead until 1835, when he went to Youngstown, Ohio, and worked on the cross-cut canal at that place, also in Portage County, Ohio, and on the Erie extension. In 1841 they located on a farm and resided there.
