General Notes: Husband - John Carnahan


He was one of the early settlers of Bell township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he built a log house in 1774.

He built a blockhouse on his land, which was the refuge of his neighbors for miles around on threatened invasion by the Indians.
