General Notes: Husband - John Carson


He was born, reared and educated on the home place in Fallowfield township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and when a young man married and settled on the homestead, where he carried on general farming and stock raising. They were members of the Speers Baptist Church. In politics he was a Democrat, and he held various township offices.

He and his wife had nine children; three died in infancy.
