General Notes: Husband - John B. Carson


He attended the schools of Washington County, Pennsylvania, afterward went to the South-western State Normal School at California, Pennsylvania, and afterward taught five terms near the home neigh-borhood. After his marriage he located on the 130 acres in Fallowfield township. In 1874 he erected a good house, and in 1881 built a new barn. He was a prosperous farmer; in politics he voted the Democratic ticket. He and his wife were members of the Zion Disciple Church, in which he served as an elder.

He resided in Allen township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, until the spring of 1893, when he moved to Ohio.
