General Notes: Husband - Benjamin Courson


He was born in New Jersey and remained there until he was twenty years of age when he came to Washington County, Pennsylvania, settling at that time near the site of Washington, in what is now North Franklin Township. He engaged in farming and stock raising and also did business as an auctioneer. Some years previous to his death, he retired to Washington.
