Hickory, Washington Co, PA

After his elementary studies were completed he entered Jefferson Med-ical College, Philadelphia, attending during the year 1856-57. After graduating, he came immediately to Cross Creek village, Washington County, PA, and began practice. In 1861 he settled in Hickory, where he became well established, eventually being the oldest physician in that part of Wash-ington county.
