General Notes: Husband - Richard Chadwick


He was a native of Monmouth County, New Jersey, and came, with his parents, to what is now Cameron County, Pennsylvania, and in 1811 settled at the mouth of North creek.
He married, and after his wife died, the following year, he removed to Smethport, entered the prothonotary office as deputy, and afterward taught school. Eventually he returned to Cameron County and made his home with his daughter, Temperance, until his death.
