After a public school education he entered Hahnemann Medical College, in Philadelphia, having early decided upon a doctor's career, whence he was graduated in the class of 1902. He came at once to New Brighton, Beaver County, and confined his practice exclusively to that locality. He was a disciple of new ideas and modern methods, and forged steadily toward the front rank of his profession in New Brighton. He held membership in the County, State and American Institute of Homeopathy, and with his wife was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
