General Notes: Husband - Capt. James McCune Clark

Civil War: he was captain of Company G, 134th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers, under Colonel Matthew Stanley Quay, and served in many of the historic battles of the Army of the Potomac, including the historic charge of Humphrey's Division, on Marie's Heights, Fredericksburg Virginia, December 13, 1862. He was appointed private secretary to the late United States Senator M. S. Quay, just preceding the latter's death.
