General Notes: Husband - Henry Clippinger


He remained on the family homestead until he was nineteen years of age, then removed with his father to a place he later came to own, known as the Withrow farm. He was actively engaged in farming until 1873, when he made a sale and thereafter rented his farm.
He was a director of the Lurgan Mutual Fire Insurance Company and was one of its charter members. He was a member of the Church of God in Newburg. Politically he was a Prohibitionist, though formerly a Republican.
