General Notes: Husband - James McKeown

---

His parents emigrated from the Province of Munster, Ireland, when he was one year old, in 1824.

He married, and in the spring of 1850, the young couple located in Harrison County, Ohio. Only three short months passed since beginning housekeeping, when on June 29, 1850, while assisting in tearing down a frame barn, he received injuries from a fall which caused his death.

After the death of her first husband, she returned to the home of her parents, where her son, James A. McKeown, was born, and where she continued to make her home until she was again married.
