General Notes: Husband - Samuel Cochran


He lived on his father's old farm in Wayne township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, about two miles from Dayton. He was always a farmer. He had visited the western and the southern states. He was a successful farmer and took great interest in the Dayton Agricultural and Mechanical Association of which he was a stock-holder and an officer.

He lived with his sister, Mary, and their nephew, George B. McC. Cochran, who lived with them beginning when he was about six years of age, which was in the year 1869.
