General Notes: Husband - Rev. D. J. Irwin, D.D.

He received an academical education at Glade Run Academy, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, graduated at Jefferson College in 1858, and at the Western Theological Seminary in 1861. During the same year he married and was settled as pastor of Ebenezer Church, Indiana County. In 1870 Clarksburg Church was added to the charge.

There seems to be some confusion between the various lists of his children.

She was a graduate of Washington Female Seminary, class of 1859, and was for two years principal of the female department of Glade Run Academy.
