General Notes: Husband - A. Thurman Cole

On April 1, 1893, the firm of Cole Brothers, which comprised the three younger sons of Andrew C. Cole, Thomas, Karl, and Thurman, went into mercantile business at Hazel Dell, Pennsylvania, and they soon built up a lucrative trade. However, a fire threatened to sweep the village out of existence. Deciding to change their location, the brothers removed to Ellwood City, took possession of a store in the C. F. Eldridge Block, and again embarked in the world of trade, confining their efforts to dealing in groceries and provisions.

He was a dentist in Marion, Indiana, at the time of his death.
