General Notes: Husband - John Dudley Collins


He was born on a farm and educated in the early subscription school. He came to Fayette County, Pennsylvania, in 1822, with his father and settled near East Liberty on the farm known as Fort Hill, where he and his brother James later lived. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church; was a trustee and held other offices in the church.
