General Notes: Husband - John Keppel

This family is of German origin, the emigrant ancestor having been a native of the Fatherland. His son, John Keppel, was born, probably, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, near Greensburg, and in 1821 moved to Allegheny township, where he purchased two hundred acres of land. He was a Democrat in politics and a Lutheran in faith.
