General Notes: Husband - John Patterson Conley

---

He was born in West Deer Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, on the farm on which his father had settled, securing the land from the state. This farm subsequently became his own and he continued to reside there until 1869, when he moved to Butler County and settled on a farm in Adams Township.

He inherited a part of his father's estate, on which he lived until 1871, when he purchased land from William Humes, in Adams Township, Butler County, on which he resided during the remainder of his life.
