General Notes: Husband - Dr. Charles Clifford Ross


His early education was received in the public schools of Clarion, Pennsylvania, after which he attended Carrier Seminary, now Clarion State Normal School. He then entered Washington and Jefferson College, at Washington, Pennsylvania, being graduated in the class of 1888. After this he took a course in the medical department of the University of Pennsylvania, from which he was graduated in 1891. Entering upon the practice of his profession, he became resident physician at Allegheny, Pennsylvania, where for some time he engaged in a general practice. He then located at Clarion. He was a member of the American, State, and County Medical Associations, and was president of the last mentioned body. Dr. Ross also manifested a keen interest in freemasonry and was a thirty-second degree Mason, a Shriner of Zem Zem Temple, at Erie, Pennsylvania, also a member of Pittsburgh Commandery No. 1. In politics he was a member of the Republican party.
