General Notes: Husband - Daniel Day


He spent his boyhood days on his father's farm, and on entering life for himself he chose agriculture as his vocation. He resided for forty years prior to his death on a place which was located about two miles west of Sparta, in Morris township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and was known as the “Hoagland farm.” He voted with the Republican party, though he was never an active politician.
