General Notes: Husband - Samuel Kidder

He owned and lived on a small farm in Dudley, Massachusetts, where his seven children were born and grew to mature years. He was forty-one years of age when the war cry of Lexington roused the patriots to defend their liberties. He, with his patriotic neighbors, left home to take up arms, leaving the farm to the care of his sons, Samuel and Nathaniel. He took part in the siege of Boston, 1775, but the following year, 1776, returned to Dudley to die of smallpox, the contagion of which he had received in the army.

General Notes: Wife - Sarah Corbin

She died in her native town aged ninety years.
