General Notes: Husband - David R. P. Corwin


He served in the railroad corps of the United States army during the Civil War, and was stationed at Chattanooga in charge of the forwarding department. He was honorably discharged on account of sickness, July 4, 1864. Later he became secretary and treasurer of the Pittsburg, Virginia and Charleston Railroad Company.
