General Notes: Husband - Matthias Corwin

He was born in England, came to New England, and in 1634 received a second grant of land at Ipswich, Massachusetts. He joined a company under Rev. John Young and settled in Southold, Long Island, in October, 1640. There he lived for eighteen years, until his death. He owned considerable land and held town offices.
