General Notes: Husband - Samuel Agnew


He settled in Washington County, Pennsylvania, about the year 1786, on a farm in Chartiers township.
He was a Jacksonian Democrat, holding several township offices and taking an active part in the political questions of the county. In religion he first united with the Seceder (later the U. P.) Church, officiating as an elder for several years.
