General Notes: Husband - Henry Cowan


After marriage, their first intent was to locate near Fort Pitt, where they were offered land at ten shillings per acre, but they refused the offer and bought land near Frankfort Springs, Beaver County.
They were members of the Presbyterian Church and he was a ruling elder.
