General Notes: Husband - Frank Morris Siggins


He received his education in Youngsville, Pennsylvania, public schools. Started in the drug business in St. Edwards, Nebraska. Served as a clerk in the same line at Pierre, South Dakota, Youngsville, Pennsylvania, Buffalo, New York, Morristown, Pennsylvania, and Oil City, Pennsylvania. Took the junior course in Chicago College of Pharmacy, graduating from the Philadelphia College in 1888. Started to clerk in the drug store of which he was later one of the proprietors, in 1889, at Meadville, Pennsylvania, and remained in the same location for a period of over twenty-seven years. He devoted much time to the study of the conservation of our Natural Resources and delivered many interesting lectures on the subject. He with his wife and family belonged to the Presbyterian Church of Meadville, Pa. He was a member of the Masonic Brotherhood, the Elks, and other organizations. Served one year on the Meadville School Board, resigning on account of ill health.
