General Notes: Husband - John Shields

Franklin Co, PA; near New Alexandria, Westmoreland Co, PA

He was brought by his parents from Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, to Westmoreland County, when he was a child, carried in a pocket hung to the saddle bow. He later returned to Franklin
County some time before the Civil War and eventually died there.
