General Notes: Husband - Samuel Crawford

He moved from Greene County, Pennsylvania, in 1763, at the age of eight years, with his parents, to Butler County, locating on a farm where he lived until his death. He was a farmer by occupation. He had a family of twelve children, 5 girls and 7 boys. [HVC 1879, 548] Some of the dates given for this person in HVC 1879 seem impossible. If the move from Greene County to Butler County was made about 1797 [HVC 1919, 506] and if he was eight years old at that time, his date of birth would be about 1789, which seems about right.

He died in 1878. [HBC 1883, 446]
