General Notes: Husband - Samuel Creese


He was a member of the boys' company under the supervision of the Home Guard, serving first under David Cook, later under David Shields.

He learned the carpenter's trade, which he followed for fourteen years. He located in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, in 1879, and in 1881 embarked in business as a contractor and builder. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, National Union and Knights of the Maccabees; in politics he was a Democrat.
