General Notes: Husband - Jonathan Albaugh


He was reared in Jack­son township, Venango County, Pennsylvania, and was nine years of age when he removed with his parents to Hickory township, Forest County. He followed farming, and occupied the old family homestead of seventy acres, a good share of which he cleared and improved. He was in the Civil war, enlisting August 11, 1862, in Company G, Eighty-third Pennsylvania Volunteers; was wounded at the battle of Chancellorsville, and was honorably discharged from the service July 12, 1865.
