General Notes: Husband - David Potts

He was a descendant of the old Cheshire (England) family of Potts, through a branch that had settled in Montgomeryshire, Wales, where they embraced the religious views of George Fox and William Penn. On account of the religious persecution of the time, David Potts and one or two brothers migrated to Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, about 1690.

He was a member of the Cheshire, England, family of the Potts name, but was himself a resident of Montgomeryshire, Wales, before emigrating to Pennsylvania about 1683. He was a Quaker.

General Notes: Wife - Alice Croasdale

Her family accompanied William Penn to America in 1682, settling in Pennsylvania. They were Quakers.
