General Notes: Husband - Asa Crossman

He was born near Boston, Massachusetts, and accompanied his parents on their removal to Indiana County, Pennsylvania, where he married. After marriage he purchased land one mile south of Perrysville, in Indiana County, which was still in its primitive condition, but he at once began to clear and improve the place, his first home being a hewed-log house. This was afterward replaced by a comfortable frame dwelling, and the land transformed into one of the finest farms of North Mahoning township.
