General Notes: Husband - John Crum

He was one of the pioneers of Clarion Coun­ty, PA; was a native of Westmoreland County, PA, of German descent. He was reared, however, in Armstrong County, where he married.

He came to Clarion County, PA, about 1839.
Soon after marriage he located in Beaver township, Clarion County, where he later died at the age of eighty years.

He gave his political support to the men and measures of the Democratic party, and religiously was identified with the Reformed Church, in which he served as deacon or elder for many years. He always took an active and prominent part in all church work.

Her parents were from Bedford County, PA. She died at the age of fifty-six.
