General Notes: Husband - James Cubbage

It was about the time of the first settlement of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, that James Cubbage, with his mother and two brothers, came from Ireland, and purchased some 350 acres of land in Allegheny County, then in Virginia. James was eighteen years of age when he located there; he was always a farmer, and erected buildings on the property he purchased. He married and became the father of three sons and five daughters.
