General Notes: Husband - Samuel Culbertson


He moved from "Culbertson Row", Franklin County, Pennsylvania, to Maysville, Kentucky, in 1796. A merchant.

He moved to Maysville, Kentucky, where he built the first brick house in that place; it is still [1923] standing and belongs to the Library Association of that place. A portrait of him hangs in the Library. He is buried just back of the Library. He was one of Maysville's earliest and most respected citizens.
