General Notes: Husband - Harry W. Curry


He served for three years in the Philippine Islands as a member of Company I, Seventeenth Regiment United States Infantry, having enlisted at the beginning of the Spanish-American War. He returned to the United States on the transport "Mead," the trip from Manila to San Francisco consuming thirty-five days, and was subsequently killed in a railroad accident.
