General Notes: Husband - John Cypher

He came with his parents to Butler County, Pennsylvania, when about eleven years old. He was reared in Winfield township, and in 1837 purchased a farm, later owned by Mrs. Keck. Here he resided until his death, engaged in clearing and improving his land and making a home for himself and family. He and his wife were life-long members of the Catho-lic church, and are buried in St. John's graveyard.
