General Notes: Husband - John Daugherty

He received his education at the schools of Harrisville, PA, and was an extensive lumber operator and farmer.
He held all of the township offices, and in 1853 was elected justice of the peace and held that office for more than thirty-five years continuously. He and family were members of the Presbyterian Church of Grove City.
