General Notes: Husband - Isaac Meanor


His parents were natives of Ireland, and Scotch-Irish Presbyterians. His grandmother, Sarah (Scott) Meanor, was a cousin of Gen. Winfield Scott. Her father and brothers were soldiers in the Revolution, and both were in the battle of Brandywine.

His parents had four daughters and nine sons, all of whom lived to be old and had families.

He and his wife were members of the Presbyterian Church. They had nine children, six of whom were still living in 1888.
