General Notes: Husband - Myron Park

He came to Franklin, Pennsylvania, in 1824. His first home there was a house built by himself, on the corner of Elk and South Park streets; his store was on Liberty street. As a merchant he had good taste and sound judgment and conducted his business fairly and judiciously. One who knew him in his New England home said he was one of the handsomest young men who had ever left his native town. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word, modest, thoughtful, and kind to all with whom he came in contact. He served as county treasurer in 1829-30. He died suddenly in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. [HVC1890, 354]

He came to Western Pennsylvania when a young man, settling at Meadville, Crawford County. [GPHAV, 333]
