General Notes: Husband - Robert Stewart Davis


He served in the Pennsylvania militia during the Lee raid into Pennsylvania, and also for eleven months in the 11th Pa. R. C. He served in the town council for three years, during the building of the water works. He was master of the lodge of A. F. and A. M. and recorder of the A. O. U. W., besides being connected with several other secret societies. He was a tinsmith by trade, but for some years was connected with the wholesale houses of Philadelphia as a commercial traveler, and with W. T. Kirk & Co., wholesale grocers.
