General Notes: Husband - Samuel Davis


When a young man, he came to Washington County, PA, and lo­cating on Chartiers creek, became prominently con­nected with the earliest history of Somerset town­ship.

He had four children with his first wife, all deceased before 1893. With his second wife he had two children. With his third wife he had six, only one living in 1893.
