General Notes: Husband - Jacob P. Wise

In early manhood he learned the black­smith trade, which he followed until 1863 and then turned his attention to farming, which he continued in Shaler Township until 1893 and then bought a farm in Penn Township where he engaged in general farm­ing until 1897. In 1901 he sold the farm to his son, William Harvey. In politics he was a Republican and served two terms as su­pervisor of Penn Township.
