General Notes: Husband - Noah Alden


In the great revival of 1741 he became a preacher and was received by the Middleborough Congregational Church, March 7, 1742. In 1749 he served the church at Stafford, Connecticut. In 1752 he changed his views and became a Baptist. He was ordained at Stafford, June 5, 1755, where he served for ten years. He was installed at Bellingham Nov. 12, 1766.
He was a "member of the Convention which formed the Massachusetts constitution of government and so was that which adopted the constitution of the U. S.". He was a "very pious and worthy man" and one of the four ministers who formed the Warren Association in 1767.
