General Notes: Husband - David M. Good


He was educated at the academy at York, Pennsylvania. At the age of eighteen years he entered the store of Henry Smith, of Waynesboro, Franklin County, as salesman, and for one year he was similarly employed at Massillon, Ohio. In 1840 he embarked in a general mercantile business at Leitersburg, Maryland, in partnership with Charles A. Fletcher, and there he continued until 1852, when he removed to Old Forge, in Chewsville District, where he owned and operated a farm and mill. From 1867 to 1870 he was engaged in the general business in Hagerstown, Maryland, during which period he resided at Leitersburg. In 1870 he located at Waynesboro, where he later died.
